Derive Sketch Version Not Updating

How do I get a derive sketches to update?

The destination of the derive says it is the latest version 18 but in fact when I go to edit the derived source it says version 6

I would save and close all files and then re-open and see if you are still getting the same problem.
This is hard to diagnose without data.

Hey @tookemtoni ,

We looked at this elsewhere but I wanted to follow up here in case anyone else runs into this. It looks like there's an issue with the link in the assembly, there's a reference to v6 (old, shouldn't be there after Get Latest) and a reference to v18.

Deleting the model cache at C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\(Alpha-numeric folder name) may fix it. If not, we can run a text command to manually delete the old reference to v6 (which shouldn't be there anymore).

Let me know how clear cache goes.

Following up here again - these steps worked for a workaround while we look into fixing the issue:

1. Open the problem design
2. Run this text command: linkmgr.fixrefcounts
3. save the design, close and reopen
