deleting off cuts

having issue's with deleting parts I have cut off the model as i design the part  they are connected to the main part if you try to delete it makes the model go haywire .Is there a way to unconnect the off cuts .also trying to do a screen shot to share

File>Export and then Attach your *.f3d file here and end all doubt.

 

Your problem description does not sound like efficient modeling technique.

Yes, please attach the model, or at least some screen shots.

 

This sounds like the issue ive seen that is related to using "delete" vs. "remove".  Delete removes a body as if it where never in the timeline, but remove "deletes" the body at that point in the timeline.

 

In general I would suggest not removeing these bits.  As you move back and forth makeing edits in your time line, fusion will sometimes swap one body for the other, and give weird results.

 

Another options is removing bodies by extrude cutting them, instead of split body-delete.  seems to keep the timeline happier.

I have looked for the remove tab but have not found it in any of the pull down menu's in model .   delete is the only one that comes up in the right click.

If you right click the body in the browser, is remove there?
