I just read through several threads of customers begging the devs to add a dark theme to fusion 360, ranging a time period of like 4 years or longer. How on earth is this not a thing yet? We're literally begging you... it's 2022. Please add a Dark Theme.
The antipathy toward your users it must take to continue to deny us dark mode after 4 years of asking. I laughed so hard at the "it's not possible" reply from one of the mods.
They don't care. People have been asking for international date formatting in the data panel for years too, the devs promised to do it, then never did.
That's what happens when you go subscription. Guaranteed monthly income. Whats the incentive to actually improve the product when your customers have no choice but to fork over a monthly fee regardless of what you do?
This holds true across literally every subscription service. There's no incentive to upgrade infrastructure for internet, utilities etc. When we are all just paying regardless. This is why our company will not be renewing our subscription this year.
Set your modeling background to a dark color. And then turn off all the lights in your house and put on death metal. What CAD platforms have dark mode?
