Cutting out a shape based on model?

Hello, I'm in a bit of a pickle. I've recently bought a 3d printer and I'm currently trying to print a case for my Ipad 2. So far I've tried to find a model of ipad 2, which I found - https://www.modelplusmodel.com/tech/electronics/apple-ipad-2.html here - but I'm so far unable to just 'cut out' the shape of the model in a rectangular body. I'm not sure why, and I don't know how to approach the subject otherwise. I've tried modeling it by hand but I can't seem to adjust the corner filet (I've gotten the profile of the back just right, but the corner is off - I've used loft to 'bridge' the sides but it just...doesn't work.

If someone could point to me how to cut the shape of the model from the link above in a rectangle I'd be very grateful.

That's a mesh model.  Fusion does have some mesh modeling capabilities, but in general it isn't very good for working with meshes.  There may be some things that are possible, but it will depend on the model.  Can you export your fusion model as an .f3d, and post it to the forum?

Another possibility would be to use a program designed for editing meshes.  I like Mesh Mixer.  If you have a 3d printer it would be worth your time learning the finer points of working with mesh models.

p.s.  if you are new to fusion, I don't suggest starting the learning process by trying to edit a mesh model.  that would be very frustrating.
