Cutout is being revolved in soft jaws

Hi Guys, i am trying to cut out a shape in my chuck jaws, however as you can see the revolve appears at what looks like every 60 deg? what is happening ?Cut is being revolved.png

I'd guess you have a component patterned, so only one component? If you extrude into the component pattern is is like extruding 3 rectangles into the single component. 

 

You'll need to create the pattern in a different way. One way would be to pattern bodys or you'll need to use Copy, Paste New to create independent copies of the component. If you create independent copies you'll need to use joints to position the copies as there's no option in patterns to create independent copies.

Cut the profile you are using in half, bottom half of the cut is causing the unwanted result.
