Cut out ditail from a body

Hello!...

I want to say i like fusion360 and build of the application is easy to get in to. But i start to get some limits with easy tasks. I dont now if it lack of knowledge or if application not design for this things.

 

In blue i want to cut out from the main boddy.  It shuld be easy. Like i am doing here. Select what you want to cut out and then copy and place it back or move copy. But i have try so many thing now i ending upp to type here for help to understand how i can do this.

I get locky to get the back side with split boddy funktion.. But when i try the other side i get failer. :S,,,,,

It should not be harder than like this.

Sorry for late awnser.

 

I have solved it in a other way. But i have notis one thing in this application. Its relay difficult to fix small issues lice smal smal faces are coming up when you extrude. and extrude only extrude on one direction and make it hard sometimes to get stuff away.  i wish it was more easy to add a line from one point to other to patch a peace insted to try to delice surface and try to patch it up with the lines you have.   Take a look in sketchup how easy this is to do.

 

i may don't get how this work yet but i feel it more difficult then it should be. i like basic of the software but simply task can some times take minuts to solve. i am glad to help out if you want more input on this.
