Cut List Report - Units

Hello,

I've created a box, and used the arrange function in the design workspace to lay the panels flat. I am happy with the arrangement, but when I generate a cut list from it, the units are metric. My default units are imperial and I've checked my preferences to ensure I didn't miss anything.

Is there a way to change the units in the Cut List Report, or is this a bug.

I've attached my file for reference.

Thank you kindly,

Max

Hi Chris,

I attempted a different project today. It is still having the same issue, where a file with imperial units is being converted to mm. Do you have any way of resolving this?

Thanks.

Hi Chris,

Would you please be able to tell me if there has been any solution to my problem that you might know about? I am still attempting to figure out this issue.

Thank you

So I tried all the settings, all the options, restarting, several plugins, and I also couldn't figure out a solution to this. So I made my own. It's no elegant. But it works. Here's what you do:

1. Open the Cut List window in your Fusion 360

2. Click the Download button (down arrow), and save it on your disk as an HTML file.

3. Paste this code below the closing body tag (looks like </body>), and then open the .html file in chrome (can just drag the file from your file manager to chrome to open)

When you load the page, you should see the measurements blip over to imperial (decimal format, if you want fractions, you'll have to do that yourself), then I just print the result of that page. See screenshot:

It's a pain, but it gets the job done, hope it helps! NOTE if you have a different column layout, you'll need to make adjustments, it'll specifically work with this 4 column layout for right now.

Thanks for the workaround Joseph. I did try it out on the original file and was able to get it to work.
