CUT feature in assemblies?

I work a lot with assemblies and would like to learn how to cut a feature without it cutting any other parts in the assembly.

I make sure the part I am working on (active) and do a CUT feature it cuts everything around or touching the part.

Hi @camstuff,

You can also turn off the visibility of the body/component that you do not want to be cut. As @TrippyLighting mentioned, I'll be able to give more explicit instructions or a video when I see the model.
