Cut 3D model from the centre and glue it back together?

Hello,

Sorry if this question is simple, I am very new the 3D modelling.

I'm trying to remove two rows out of this test tube rack.

Since there are connectors at the side, I thought it might be easiest to remove two rows from the centre and then glue the rest back together? Is this possible?

See attached file.

Thanks for any help you can provide in advance! 🙂

It will be easier to remove the two rows from the end.  If you had modeled this with Design History turned on, it would only take editing one or two parameters to change the number of holes and size of the stand.

Thank you so much! I'm sure your solution works as well, but I chose the other one just to avoid changing the support connections! I got this 3D model from a template off of Thingiverse so I was worried I would ruin the supports! 🙂
