Custom Size Sheet Drawing

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello,

Could I custom the size sheet of my drawing?

My drawing is around 1350mm*400mm.

The max size is A0 and I need to print my drawing at the real size.

How could I do?

Thanks,

Hi @rprovideo

To see the roadmap, you need to sign up for Mural, then request access. I'll get a notification and approve you (There have been some changes to our security settings with Mural).

First of all I can't believe this is still an issue after.. 8 years !!!

Today I had to change the size of my drawing sheet (not expecting to have a "custom" option as I'm not expecting it anymore at this point) but to my surprise all the non ISO 216 format (letter, B size etc...) are gone ! Have they been moved somewhere else ? Is it a bug ?

No, this is not a bug in Fusion 360.  You are working in an ISO Standard drawing and these are the standard paper sizes available.  The paper sizes you seemed to be looking for are found in the ASME Standard drawing.  Since you cannot switch between ISO and ASME drawing standard ONCE THE DRAWING is created, the sheet sizes are the only ones you can select in this standard.  Below are the standard drawing paper sizes per standard.

Good news folks

Custom sheet sizes will be available very soon. The drawings team have been working on this project for some time. Testing and validation have gone well and general feedback from the Insider program has been positive. You can take a look at the public roadmap for more details (link in my calendar).

I've been waiting on this one for years also...

I just figured out an OK workaround.  If you just design a 24x36 size title block & border @ bottom left of the 34x44 largest size available.  Then as long as we keep everything within the border, some quick post cropping after export can easily crop the pages to 24x36 anchored to bottom left of the page.  I'm thinking of creating a quick script that would do this post cropping on pdf export.  Let me know if anyone else is interested in this script if I get it working.

For Mac in preview, you can bring up the inspector while cropping and type in the size you want to crop to

On windows we use PDF-Expert on all of our workstations that has a very decent batch crop feature.
