Is the reason for why we can't get nurbs curse in fusion 360 ? Isn't it running on the same core as Alias SpeedForm ?
Alias SpeedForm Have it integrated for more then 2 years...
Is there an explanation for that.
Could you please give me a answer

Hi @Anonymous,

Speedform and Fusion share the same platform but there are features that are built on Speedform that are not in Fusion and vice-versa.

We have the CV curve in our backlog.  Relase date is TBD right now.

So what does it mean ? hopefully it's a good thing the "backlog" word.
I was afraid you have agreement what alias so we couldn't get it, but that isn't the case right ?
And I should just be patient... It's just around the corner ? I just Ford wouldn't be that hard to implement it wen alias already have it implement it for a long time
What time frame do you think we're talking about, weeks months years ?

Hi @Anonymous,

The Backlog is a list of issues/enhancement ranked by priority that we have waiting to be scheduled for release.  Sometimes we get requests that aren't on our radar and therefore may not be in the backlog.  This is not the case with the CV curve.  On a regular basis the product management team "grooms" the backlog - meaning that we make sure that the ranking of the backlog items still reflects the feedback that we are hearing from customers.

With regards to your question regarding the Alias product team somehow blocking this feature, that is not the case at all.  I was a product manager for Alias (and StudioTools before that) and I can assure you that I want to beef up the curve/surfacing features in Fusion, but there are higher priorities at the moment and we only have so many people to do the work.

As for timeline, I think we are talking months.

Hope that clears things up,

Colin
