b33ac3f3380a080b6c4feda6b5cee9cb.jpgI'm trying to reproduce something similar to this, so understanding how I should be tackling this should give me the solution to my problem. How would you even do this in F360? Is it doable?

Thank you so much.

That can be done but the first approach that would come to my mind it is going to be slow

(L)oad

(O)f

(W)ork

It would involve creating a filleted cube and then splitting it with sketch lines or construction planes wherever you need a dictional ridge/valley.

Then you might have to do a lot to sweeps along these spit lines to create all the sweeps or a number of lofts.

I am not even halfway done an the crease pattern is only about half as fine as the one in the picture.

This is a lot of work in a CAD application. At least the way I am doing it 🙂

Yeah, this might be a bit too much for F360. Awesome solution, though! Thanks.

Fusion 360 doesn't have a problem with it 😉

It just doesn't create geometry on it's own 😉

I do have another idea that I need to explore that would indeed be a lot less work.
