Cross-Hatch Area in Drawing

I need to create a cross-hatching on a non-sectioned surface. How am I able to do this? I see no functionality that can do this.

The only way, I know of, is to create an unconsumed model sketch over the area you want the cross hatched area to appear in the drawing.  Then turn on this sketch in the drawing view.  The line type will not be continuous but that is the only choice for sketch lines in drawings.

I did this and it worked but everywhere I had points locating ends, it created a cross-hair.

I put a quick video together for you of a potential workflow. The idea is that you create the hatch in a sketch. At the end of the video I also show how you can move the hatch sketch back onto geometry (just in case you move it).

Ugh why does basic drawing steps have to be so complicated or non-existent in Fusion.   Using Rhino on a daily basis this is the biggest flaw to fusion.  The drawing tools are terrible in fusion.
