Creating tile pattern

 The screenshot shows one section of a bird house model, the displayed plane on the roof panel also has a sketched ready to populate, what I want to do is create a tile style pattern on this roof panel.  Can anyone help?

I found Move(Along Axis) creating Copy worked well for subsequent rows..Just a coffee break go for me but I think the idea is sound(?) Will you 3D print?
