Creating new body

Hi,

This shouldn't be hard. I need to create a new Body, so I can use it in the CAM module. I went to help and here is what it says:

Most commands in the "Create" menus (Box, Cylinder, Sphere, Extrude, Revolve, Sweep, etc.) can create new bodies. Choose "New Body" from the Operation menu in the command dialog.

When I go to the Model Workspace and to the Create pull-down, there is no "New Body" selection. There is a "New Component". I need a New Body not a New Component. What gives?

Thank a  lot,

FT

The new body option is available in all the sketch based feature dialogs. This includes features like Extrude, Revolve, Sweep. Along with the typical options like Cut, Join, and Intersect, Fusion 360 offers "New body" and "New component" too.

This is the extrude dialog:

If you are just creating toolpaths from a sketch, you don't need a body.  Just define the stock size in the setup.
