creating a assembaly from componets

I am trying to help my wife learn fusion but I'm by no means a expert. She has done a drawing and she wants to group some of the components into a assembly however for some reason the components don't want to drag and drop into anything.

Does any one know what would be the cause of this? 

sorry in advice for any faults in the drawing its her very first time.

Hope you've found your solution. Im not quite sure what went wrong, but one habit that I think its quiet useful to get is to create new components while you start to inter them into your design, and in a nice and clean folder hierarchy. That makes it all so much easier.
