Create Triangular Retainer Tab

I have two parallel, vertical components that stick up and will retain a horizontal bar.

I would like to place triangular retainer tabs at the top of both vertical components, facing inwards towards each other, in order to allow easy insertion and retaining of the horizontal bar. It would be the blue portion below (side-view).

Can someone please explain how to add this?
