Create New UCS?

I saw a couple of posts from 4-5 years ago asking about the creation of custom user coordinate systems. At that time, the responses indicated that was not possible in F360. I was wondering if this has been addressed, and if so, how to create a UCS?

      Thanks,

Um...not exactly. You can of course make another Component, which has its own Origin that can be Jointed in any position/orientation you like, but that position/orientation is maintained relative to the fixed master Origin.

That's quite a shame. This is a very useful function that should definitely be available in Fusion!

It is a simple task to create a UCS component by creating three user workplanes and three user axes and save it to a common folder.  Then you can insert it into any assembly, GROUND IT, and use it in the same way you would the original Origin planes and axes.  When you insert it you can place it in any position and angle you desire.

How is it any more useful than another Origin? What the difference, really?

Same here, I am obviously missing the point of insert any component and it’s own origin can be utilised as desired, duplicating a dummy origin is weird to this old guy.
