Create new simulation model

Hello,

I recently have came upon something that I don't understand.

When I try to create new simulation model Fusion just adds new study to the existing Simulation Model.

How do I create a new simulation model? I seem to miss something...

Best Regards,
Adam

If I understand you correctly, you can do this in either the simplify environment or by creating a duplicate assembly and doing your modifications there.

Had the same issue, just to find out that there is a history in simplify mode. Roll back to start and all your components will be there again.

If you struggle to have multiple sim models for different studies: solution is to right-click your model and clone it. Pheeew, took me a while to sort that out.

Note to myself: RTFM! From Autodesk learning center:

Note: When you create a New Simulation Model, the current production version of the model is loaded as the starting point for the new simulation model. If you want to avoid re-applying changes made to a prior simulation model, use the Clone Simulation Model command instead. Both of these command are located in the context menu that appears when you right-click an existing Simulation Model x heading in the browser. The New Simulation Model command is also available from the SIMPLIFY toolbar.

I found the ability to create a new model only in Simplify mode; the various right-click options didn't work for me. Click on Simplify and then Create > New Simulation Model.
