Create modifiable library part

Hi There

I'm trying to create reusable part with custom dims (a library parts) when inserting into an assembly so I don't have to draw each part separately. For example I've got this rail (on the picture) but the length will vary each time I insert it into assembly so I want that length to be editable every time it is inserted. I can easily do that in inventor but nut sure if I can do it in Fusion360. Is there any way to do it here?

The only easiest technique I know of that works in current release of Fusion 360 is to insert, break link and edit as needed.

Someone will correct me if I am wrong.

Yeah... I knew this will be too advanced task for fusion. I'll see if anyone got better idea.
