Create circular pattern greyed out

I've created a fan blade and would like to create a circular pattern to duplicate the blade.  However, the circular pattern button is greyed out no matter what I try.  And ideas?

Please provide at least a screenshot including the browser tree and menus. You could also make a screencast.

Hi there!

I see you are having some trouble producing a circular pattern. I  would just like to ensure that you are selecting the correct dropdown menu, as there is a circular pattern command for sketch entities and a completely separate circular pattern command for patterning features, bodies, components, and faces.

Attached are screenshots of the locations of the two different commands. Hope this helps!

Thank you Mike.  I was using the wrong pattern selection.  Duh.  Still learning.  Love the application so far.
