Create and continue button

What happened to the create and continue button? Example, when you are creating lines point to point, you want to end the line, there's the little check mark you click on to create and continue. 

It used to pop up loud and proud and in your face, now you I have to search for it, most of the time I have to zoom out to find it and it's not green anymore so it's difficult to find. Is there any way to reverse this "improvement"?

I reported this bug a few weeks ago. It now seems to appear at random points, sometimes just where you want to pick your next point and zooming and panning no longer move its position. Personally I'd like to turn it off completely as it used to get in the way all the time and you can just double click the last point to get the same effect anyway.

Awesome thanks, I guess I forgot about the double click. That works fine just need to make it part of my muscle memory. 

I didn't mind the way it was too much, was annoying at times but a little zoom made it workable. The way it is now it's completely useless.
