Create a tube steel frame

I'm making a steel frame for a chair, the attached picture is an example just to illustrate. I can figure out how to make the straight sections in a 3d sketch and I can fillet the corners. I would like to be able to freely move the original lines and have the fillets update, however it seems not possible. Anybody have an idea of a workflow that would allow some experimentation?

I've done piping on a car seat that updates.

I used 3D intersection between surfaces to define Sweep path.

I'm a beginner so my way isn't the best (I bet), but attached you find my try. It looks like:

Hi and thanks for this. It gave me an idea how to fake it, I create linear segment lines that are connected at the ends. Each segment is then piped. The end cap of each pipe is offset to shorten it and finally I created a loft between the retracted ends. As a result you can interactively reshape the frame by moving the connected lines by their end points. I attached my solution in case anyone has the same problem.

@Claus_J: Good work.

 

I'm using 3d content in sketches mostly for cables. The problem is, that you can not dimension them anymore after you moved them in the 3d space. That's why I did the main work witch construction planes and sketches.
