crash during split body operation

I have a model (Direct Modeling regime) that is giving me a problem when I try to split a body using a central plane that has some holes in it. Fusion throws up its hands, the background behind the browser column turns black, there is a light haze over the screen, and nothing else can be done other than close the program. The geometry doesn't seem difficult (to me), but there must be something odd going on that is non-obvious (to me). The error message from W7 indicates "Application Hang". It happened twice and seems to be repeatable. Screen shot attached, if that's of any use.

If you can possibly share the model (to jeff.strater@autodesk.com), we'd be happy to take a look at it.

Thanks for sending the design, Matt.  Yes, that is indeed a bug in Fusion.  However, I am happy to report that it succeeds on the latest Fusion build, and that will be released in an update very soon!

Jeff,

Thanks for the "bittersweet" news. Is the next release date detailed in the roadmap info, or is there any other schedule info that is known at the moment?

Thanks --

Matt

But, the short answer is:  the next release is this coming weekend - Feb 28th
