Hello! new to Fusion 360 and anything CAD related.
I've designed some parts that I want to laser/water cut and while designing them I realized that one part, which is smaller, fits exactly inside another bigger part. Lining them up so that they cut simultaneously would save some material and time.
I therefore figured it would be nice to copy the sketch for the small part to the sketch for the large part but I seem unable to do this.
What I tried to do was to open the design for the small part, enter edit sketch mode, mark the entire sketch (click and drag mark) and pressed ctrl + C. Then I opened the design for the larger part and entered edit sketch mode, pressed ctrl + V but nothing gets pasted.
I will upload pictures of the parts to visualize what I want to move and where.
The first picture shows the smaller part, which is 30x52mm
The second picture shows the larger part, which has a 30x60mm gap in the middle where the smaller part fits.
I hope I can get some answer about this, thanks in advance! 🙂
