Copy a selection of Faces

Today is just not my day.  How do I copy these faces?  

I tried:

1) Offset in Patch environment but that only lets me select 1 face at a time.

2) Move copy in the Model environment but the copy feature is not visible

3) Tried to convert selection to body or component, but can't figure out how

4) Deleted the faces in patch that I did not want, left me with big holes

Why can't we just copy paste like in sketch?  I know you guys are sick of this question, I see it asked all the time, unfortunately no answer works for me.

Nice pic, with very little info to help you with, Browser, timelines help us greatly determine what Fusion has to work with, even in the pics

Sheet metal or patched ?

1. Correct, what's the design intent?

2. If it was a body it can handle it will be there,

3. If a series of surface bodies, use stitch to convert to one body, solid bodies, use combine, 

4.  Sounds like surfaces, then delete will do that, expected behaviour.

Copy paste works that way, but without the file, can't say why you have trouble with it.

I can't select the surfaces in patch.  I CAN do a merge but then it disappears and gets cut off from the main body.  I didn't find any new bodies or components so I have no I idea what happened after the merge.

Hi I had a look in your attached file  but there is no history, profiles, anything, but the body, the only way that I could see , make a copy of the whole body, then in patch, delete the faces you don't need and try and fill openings left behind., will not be easy has there are some 'not quite right' faces on the body.

I can't select the surfaces in patch.

Because it is a solid body.

Move  / Copy works my end.

I know that but I only needed the top part.  In any case I remodelled the top and converted to T-Splines to link it to the new body.
