Maybe I just don't understand how this works.
I have a design with multiple copies of a single part in it. On one of these copies, I'd like to add a hole to only one in the finished assembly. Of course, when I add then hole to one, it also adds the hole to every copy in the design. I was relieved to hear the Fusion 360 would be adding configurations, but even after reading the forum posts, I'm still unable to show the hole in only one part. There are no external parts. All were created in the same file.
How do I show variations in one part (all created in the file) of an assembly without this variation appearing in all instances?
This is probably (or at least should be) something simple I either missed or misunderstood.
Appreciate any feedback.
