Converting stl into obj and scaling to complete CAM

Hello everyone.  So, I am really new to Fusion 360 and I am having troubles.  I have tried converting a STL file into and .obj file, which I did accomplish with Meshlab.  When I look at it in Meshlab it is a full solid object front and back, but after importing it into Fusion it chops off the back face making it look like a skin of the top.  It also imports in not to scale like it was in Meshlab.

I then tried to setup up material for the cam process and it will not let me form the material around the model.  The material thickness is:

8"L x 8"W x 1.487" H.

I am sure it is something I am not doing in correct order, but if someone could assist me that would be greatly appreciated.

I do not know how to show the work done so I shared the link in the Main fusion 360 Hub. I have attached the link to view what is saved in model.   http://a360.co/2fk1fXu

I also attached the converted mesh file that was completed in Meshlab.

I believe it is impossible to CAM a mesh obj at this time. I remember talking to Al about it as I feel Fusion Dev Team dropped the ball when they added mesh space without a way to CAM an obj file.....

The only way I know of to make this work is to convert the obj into a B-rep then it could be CAMed, but there are a lot of limitations on converting a obj to B-rep one being a 10,000 polygon limit.
