Convert paste to paste new in timeline and break link between copied components?

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is possible but I copied and pasted a component several times. I then realized that I needed to modify only a few copies of that component but since I had done a simple copy paste (I wasn't aware of paste new) they are now inextricably linked.

Since I made several changes like sketches, planes which were based on these modified components I don't want to delete them and paste them again as new.

Is there any way to break the link or change the paste to paste new in the timeline?

No, unfortunately, Break Link (internally we called it Make Independent) of a component instance is not yet supported in a parametric design.  It is supported in a Direct Modeling design:

But, of course, that is a much easier thing to implement.  Someday we hope to get around to this in the parametric environment.

Just do a copy|paste new of the clones to be modified.  Hide or remove the clones.

Yes that's what I ended up doing!

So where is the feature now? This is highly unacceptable.
