Hey folks! SO i have a situation thats driving me bonkers..
Ive created a Form, Sculpted it. then have attempted to convert it to Brep OR do a solid fill Something along the lines of the first few min of this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPpbaKqTS2c
he sculpts, patches and just does a solid fill and now he can extrude and do all these things...
I have tried doing a convert T-Spline to Brep and including all edges, keeping symmetry....
Ive tried the Solid Fill method as shown on this video...
But in the end i get a BODY with selectable edges...but i cannot Use these edges for profile sweeps, i cannot actually get an extrude to work (just gives me an error) and when i click sweep none of the faces or edges can be selected for that operation...
ALSO i noticed i can make holes and edit that way, i can make a sketch in space and do a subtract and things like that.....but i need to add new geometry and have it joined and lined up with a profile that is a part of the form....OR do i have to project edges (i havent tried this yet to see if it works but typing is getting juices flowing) to a plane then create a sketch profile of that feature from my "CONVERTED" form and then extrude and work with that?
Something seems broken with my order of operations...
Thanks folks! any help would be appreciated...
