Convert a BREP/BODY or T-Spline into a Quad Mesh

Hi Everyone,

I'm currently faced with a hefty project which involves leveraging models of road bikes that are provided in STP format. The challenge at the moment is to essentially convert the BREP/Bodies into a Quad Mesh that would allow the model to be viewed on an online store; the user is able to rotate and apply different textures to the model (which will need to be unwrapped) so they have to be relatively low poly enough to download/view.

Until now I've been manually retopologising the BREP/Bodies in 3DS Max and while it works fine, it is still rather labour intensive.

Looking through Fusion, I realise that the software is created more for converting Quads/Tris into BREP and/or T-Splines. I am hoping however, if there is a way to reverse engineer this process or workflow. Can I somehow convert a BREP/Body into a low poly Quad Mesh through more automated means?

Also I've looked into other programs such as Autodesk's ReCap, Meshmixer and the indi program InstantMeshes on GitHub but they all seem to output more or less the same unsatisfactory results after countless experimenting with decimating the mesh, converting the Tris into Quads etc.

Can anyone suggest an alternative workflow, videos, software or another process which will help achieve this?

Thanks,

Andrew

P.S. Attached is a sample model in Fusion showing what I need to convert/retopologise.

to this  Object mesh file using only n-gons, if the answer is yes, then take look at Moi3d, (moi3d.com) it has a really nice export to mesh function.
