Continue sketching lines after the second click?

It happens that when I draw any line, the first click starts the line, the second click ends up the line and I can't continue to draw it from the last point. I have to press "L" or just click again to start another line from the last point of the previous one;

I forgot how to make in a way that I can just go ahead drawing segments ?

it depends where you click.  If you click in open space the line command continues from the last point of the previous line.  If you click on an existing line/curve or point, the sequence is terminated, but the line command is still active for placing the first point.  This was a UI choice.  The assumption here is that if you snap to existing geometry, your are done with that sequence.  Do you see behavior different than this?

Ah ok it's clear now. Indeed I was ending on reference lines (which are construction lines). So Fusion360 is probably thinking that I'm finishing the lien and I have to re-click on the last point to start the new consecutive one ...
