the message saying "it is over constrained"  so you can't use sketch dimensions the only solution I see is not satisfactory are you going to have a method to see the constrants and delete the ones you don't want and when.

We are working on some things that will help:

 

1. changing the display to show the constraint status of sketch geometry.  So, fully constrained geometry will show in a different color

2. improving the solve in general.  There are cases where we report overconstrained that are not really overconstrained.  This is an extremely high priority

 

longer term, we want to also have more debugging tools, so that if you do get into a valid overconstrained case, we can point out which constraints are involved and let you decide which of those to remove
