Constraints for 3D curves?

How does one constrain 3D fit point spline handles? For instance, Fusion only allows me to put horizontal/ vertical constraints on hanldes that are already aligned to one of the world axis, such as the one in the middle (with the vertical axis below).

I can apply a curvature constraint though.

In spite of a horizontal/ vertical constraint, I can still move the end point of the line. Am I correct to assume that the workaround/ right way to do this is to apply a fix constraint to have the line fixed parallel to the XY plane?

Also, I don't see how I can apply dimensions in a way that it is in the same plane as the handles? It now rotates around the handle, but my guess is that this is non-existant atm?

Note that, for these examples, I could have made a 2D sketch. However, this is not the case for the design I have in mind.

Most 2d constraints, and dimensions - are not available in non planar sketches,

you have figured out most of the work arounds.

When in non planar sketches, Spline handles can be manipulated with the Move Tool.

Might help....

@Intuos5 ,

Can you have another look at 3D sketching and let me us know what you think?

The March update of Fusion includes a sizable 3D sketch improvement that should address a number of your needs.

@helfenjThose were exactly my thoughts when I saw the What's new video. My hands are itching to fully test drive it after I finish a deadline that is due this week. First impression of the sketching process (without constraints that is) is positive, many thanks for the team on the hard work!
