Constrain Components feature problem

Hi. Now either I misunderstand something about how this constrain components feature is supposed to work, or something isn't right. Every time I try to constrain a component in all three directions I get an error saying there are conflicting constrains.

Here's a link to a very simple exercise -

I positioned the angled piece the way I want it constrained rigidly in all directions. I managed to constrain it in two directions alright. But the third is left unconstrained and if I try to constrain it using new constrain components feature it gives me this warning. Why? What can be more simple than constraining a part by aligning three pairs of flat surfaces?

The 30 X 30 Mounting Box has angled sides.  Add an Align Component Constraint to the corresponding Origin Planes to finish off the placement.  Model is attached. I had to ZIP the file to attach it.
