Connecting multiple bodies with a body that seamlessly extrudes through them?

Hi I am trying to extrude a small rectangular body through multiple sized bodies as a joint that connects all of them together. The bodies that the extruding body is going through start from bigger to smaller in size. Ideally I need the body that i am extruding to seamlessly size to each body that it intersecting through.... I thought the intersect operation would work but it doing the exact opposite, unless there is a way to inverse it?

Are there any other options that are a simple solution for this problem, rather than doing a loft between each individual body manually...?

Have you tried using the Intersect option? I think that is what you're after. You could use this in Extrude or the Model > Modify > Combine command.

Have a look at the screencast above for reference. I hope this helps.

Thanks,
