Connect two sketches

I'm trying to connect two sketches to create an intersect line in between them, I've tried project intersect tool and can't get it to work. Does someone know how to create an intersect line between two sketches?

Project->intersect only works if the object you are "projecting" (intersecting) actually intersects the sketch plane.  My guess is that in this case, your first sketch does not intersect the sketch plane of the active sketch.  If you just want to align that line in the first sketch with a line in the second, then use just regular Project - that will project an associated line into the active sketch that will move when the original line moves.

I’ve used 3d sketch instead, and solved the problem, it was a hassle doing it without 3d sketch.
