Small progress, but progress. The API object of SketchConicCurve has a new property. The rhoValue … has been added.
It is warmly welcome; however, the intuitive rho parameter is sufficient only in sculpting the desired shape … by eyeball scanning … in a woodworking shop. There is much more to be desired … in more serious engineering work … like, e.g. designing a simple telescope.
How difficult would it be to expose other essential conic curve determinants such as the vertex, focus (foci) point, directrix and symmetry axes?
