Compute failed - failed to solve, even after removing the constraints

(This is my first design and I'm still very much learning...)

I am building a design with a number of hexagons, everything went well until I had to go back and change the parameters to resize those hexagons. Since then it's been giving me a warning: "Compute failed" -> "Failed to solve. Please try revising dimensions or constraints" (see v29). I tried to remove all those constraints from the size of the polygons, but I still cannot resize them and the warning is still there (see v30). I opened earlier versions and can confirm that the warning was not there before that change.

I browsed the forums but cannot find a way to understand why this warning is there or why I am not able to resize those polygons.

Thank you for the help!

Here is what I did to solve it (advice on what was wrong or how to do this better is still appreciated though!)

- change the selection filter to only select dimensions and geometric constraints (seems like the combination of both of those is the problem in the warning)

- select them all in the sketch with the warning and delete them (then the warning is gone) - but keep all the "polygon" constraints for all the hexagons, I don't know how to put those back afterwards

- add all the geometric constraints (parallel lines) and dimensions back

Hi,

I can only recommend that you make patterns not in the sketch but from features, faces bodies.

Have a look at the different behaviors
