Component Preview hidden sub-components, bodys and sketches when moving

A picture is worth a 1000 words, please see the image. Is there a way to shut off the blue outlines of everything in a component when your moving it around? The items visibility is off, but when you want to move the component around you get a preview of everything, its very system resource intensive, blocks your view of things and its just annoying.  I just need to see what I have activated I cant think of a good reason why I need to see all the other stuff inside, if I have turned it off. Anyone know a way to turn off that preview?

I am not aware of a setting that will disable the "blue" preview of hidden bodies/components. If you switch to "simple" in the selection display style setting located in the graphics panel of Preferences dialog, does this help with performance at all?

Otherwise, I think adding a feature enhancement request in the Fusion 360 Ideastation is the best way to go for now.

I hope that helps!

Thanks,

Unfortunately, that setting is already set to simple on my machine. I guess i will add a feature enhancement request.

The reason that this selection preview exists is to support selecting components where everything is invisible.  If we only highlighted visible stuff, then you would get no feedback at all.  Now, admittedly, this can be jarring at times.  And, there are probably other options (if anything is visible, only show those things).  Yes, you should submit a Fusion Idea Station request for this, and if enough people feel this is a problem, it will get changed.
