Complex Mesh to solid problem

I'm stuck and need some help.

I'm trying to create a 5mm plate(solid) from a mesh.

The mesh is way to complicated with to many faces. 90 % is no problem to manually create a form, but the front part has a compound bent shape with sharp corner. And forms do not like this...

Fusion 360 really does not seem to like this shape.

I have spent a lot of time on this and tried to use Blender (for the first time) to reduce the faces as much as possible (not in this project)  to solve this as advised when reading about complex meshes and Fusion 360.

Project public link: https://a360.co/36hyO7e

(The form I manually created has square faces in the front with very tight vertices to simulate sharp angle. This did not work. But gives an idea of one of the solutions i tried.)

Any suggestions would be helpful.
