Comments stripped out on export as .f3d?

If I add a comment to my design, close the design (with a save), the open the design again later, the comment is there just as expected.

However, if I export the design as an .f3d file, then open it later (or someone else opens it), the comments have all been removed.

Hopefully this is not the intended behavior, but just a bug.

I suspect this is by design. As far as I'm aware, the comments aren't actually stored in the document, and there's no place for them to live in an exported .f3d.
