Comments - how to

I want to add comments that will be part of my design. I opened comments but I can't input anything.

I looked for help/Google and it shows a frame with controls for adding text. Mine does not.

How do I enable that?

Can you elaborate a bit more on what issues you are experiencing.

• If you do not see the Comments window on Fusion screen: Click on File dropdown on the top in Fusion window, hover on "View" flyout, click on "Show Comments".
• If you are seeing the Comments window, but cannot add any inputs, it might be that the design you have is not saved yet.  Save it and you should be able to add inputs in the Comments window
• If this is not happening, it will be good if you can provide more detailed information on the problems you are experiencing.

Hi @tommVS2MB 

Sorry to hear that Comments is not working for you on this design.  I am able to successfully add comments in the design you provided, as you can see in the attached image.  There might be some problem with Comments that is affecting you. 

• First of all, can you let me know which version of Fusion you are on?  I am on the latest version 2.0.13615.  You can find that in the About box
• Can you provide us with the log files.  Use the steps described in this linked article 
• Lastly can you check if this is a generic problem with comments for you or just a problem for this design.

OK, I don't know what changed but it is ow working!!
