Command C + V problems in OS X 10.11.5

First, I've read the previous posts related to my problem, I've attempted to copy and paste from the Browser, the Edit dropdown etc.  It simply does not work.  No problems with copy/paste on my Win 10 laptop.

So, I'm guessing its an issue related to OSX and the hardware it's running on.

System description:

OSX 10.11.5

Hackintosh

MoBo:  Gigabyte GA-Z170N-WIFI

Processor: Core i7-6700K Skylake

Memory: 16 gig Crucial Ballistix Sport LT

SSD: Samsung ?E??VO 500 GB

Graphics: EVGA GTX 950

Apple Magic Keyboard

Apple Magic Trackpad 2

also have tried Logitech M705

I know this system is a bit outside the norm and certainly don't expect anyone to jump throught hoops to solve my problems, just thought I'd let you know there is an issue and that I'd be happy to test any solutions that may come up.

I'm a complete noob to CAD/CAM but after some considerable research decided to attempt the STEEP learning curve for Fusion 360, an amazing product, to say the least.  I built the computer in order to have the horsepower needed later on in my nascent CAD journey.  A little frustrating that all does not work but I'm confident we'll find a solution eventually.

Now its time to get back to my lessons!

Can you clarify what you are selecting in the browser before selecting Command + C? Have you tried using the Copy and Paste command that is available from the right click menu? The Copy and Paste Command will only show on the right click menu when the command is available in context of the selection. It may be a clue as to what is happening.

I'd also be curious to know if there is any change in behavior if you are in a Direct Modeling or a Parametric design.

I hope that helps and I look forward to your reply.

Thanks,

Hmmmm, loaded up F360 this a.m., got the message "you are all set with the new update" (or something like that), opened up the pipe clamp lesson I was working on yesterday in order to answer your question and, voila! All is working now.

I can select Pin 1 from the browser with either the trackpad or mouse, copy then go back to browser where there is now a paste command and paste.  I still cannot directly copy the pin in the drawing itself (sorry, don't know all the proper terms yet) even when selecting by right clicking and enclosing the pin in a selection box (or shape, with the trackpad).

Now that I have a way to copy and paste I'm a happy camper, I can proceed with my lessons.

The first thing I'm going to learn today is what Direct Modeling and Parametric design mean.
