First off let me say that I'm not a professional and I'm teaching myself this program. I'm modeling a sheet metal part with compound bends (I wish there was a way to do this with the sheet metal tools) so I needed to make multiple bodies to achieve my desired result. I used two bodies and split them to remove excess geometry then used the combine tool to make it a single body. The issue is that where the bodies intersect there is an edge that's left and it's basically still behaving as two separate parts. These lines show up in my drawing and make it look like two separate parts fit together when in reality this will be bent out of a solid piece of sheet metal. The way I went about creating this might be a convoluted mess but this is the only way I could think of doing it.
Is there any way to basically combine these two bodies into a single piece with no edges at the intersection point?
