I usually use Fusion 360 to make simple models for 3D printing, in this case I feel like I'm way over my head.
The goal is to have the spikes follow the curve of the Peanut body. Just do few projections, pattern on the projected paths, then mirror the results, and wham bam model done before the morning coffee is ready(not really, I've been working on that for a few days).
Well, that far it worked as planned, but then I try to combine the spikes and the peanut, half the spikes are missing. The problem seems to be present only on the two full rows of spikes on the sides.
And I had to do the pattern on only half row, as pattern on path is also not agreeing with me and places half the spikes in the air when doing it symmetric, the base spike is the one in the centre.
I assume I made a really stupid mistake early on, or just my approach is totally wrong, but that was the only way I could think of making it. Any help is welcome, thanks 😊!
