CNC Tool Library

I need to copy my Tool Libraries from Autodesk Inventor to Fusion 360. Where do the Tool Libraries live on my computer so I can get them in the right directory so I can see them in Fusion 360 CAM?

Thx!

Hi @Anonymous,

I've never personally done this workflow, but I do believe it is as follows.

Go into Inventor and open up your tool libraries. Find the folder you are looking for and then right-click it. You should see an option called "Open in Windows Explorer". This will bring up the folder directory that the library is in on your computer. This article here has more information.

Then open Fusion 360 and go into the CAM environment. Under the manage tab in the ribbon, will be Tool Libraries. Open that and press CTRL+I to import a new library.

That should do the trick! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
