Thanks for taking the time to help!
I'm suuuuper deep into a model and realized an error much earlier in the timeline I need to correct. I have provided the file and reverted to the circle pattern tool step where the error first appears and deleted the " future" history.
You will notice from "issue pic 1.png" that one of the six large pointed sections does not match the rest, even though all of them are created from a single patterned face. Lets call the incorrect state the "Thin" version as it has thinner and 5 total steps, and the accurate version "Deep" ( with only 4 steps, with the top being wider).
I don't know how to fix the issue and make all 6 sections be the Deep version. Every time I attempt to edit to pattern tool, it wont allow me to select more than one object. A workaround of creating it new, usually works but then I haven't been able to get the desired pattern. Either way, I'm dumbfounded how one of the six section can be different if I'm creating them all from a single pattern.
I'm sure I'm missing something but I'm too close to it. Issue pic 2.png is what i've been able to create in a best attempt and that doesn't even match either outcomes from before.

I have updated the attached file. See my next comment.
