Circular feature pattern bug - skipping instances

Anonymous
Not applicable

I'm trying to pattern a circular cut extrude around a body. When I select all the quantity all the checkboxes are active, however when I click "ok" to create the pattern a couple of instances along the body have been skipped for no apparent reason. I may be missing something or perhaps I've hit a bug. Any thoughts?

I'm using fusion 2.0.1774. I've also attached screenshots of my issue and my machine spec.

Thanks in advance,

Evan

I got a similar result. To acheive a successful result, I extruded the cut shape as a 'new Body' instead of using 'Cut'. Did a circular pattern on the body, then did a cut using the Combine tool.

I tend to do exactly what @donsmac recommended in these cases.

It can also depend a bit on what type of pattern you use.  The default (pattern faces):

has known limitations, especially in this kind of a pattern.  In general, assuming you have a parametric design, Pattern Features is more reliable:
