Choosing from multiple in-model "tools" for creating shapes?

Hello -

I'm relatively new to F360 so not sure how to search this, and haven't found anything.

Basically - imagine that I'm creating Scrabble number pieces.

Is there a way to have 1 tile model and selectively (and nondestructively) apply & "carve out" (subtract) letters A thru Z from it?

Obviously I'd like to be able to keep all the "letters" available and pre-position them an use them as needed.

Can this be done?

thanks!

YES!

1. create a component (1st instance) with body and text in it.

2. copy it with COPY / PASTE NEW.

3. edit the text in each component individually
